Oppose electing Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries to Democratic leadership positions when the new Congress convenes on January 3, 2027. Both men have accepted significant funding from AIPAC, and that kind of financial entanglement shapes priorities in ways that don't align with the progressive agenda voters worked hard to build.
Democrats need fighters in these roles, not leaders who have held private meetings with figures like Jared Kushner and taken corporate money that compromises their independence. The moment calls for someone who will aggressively pursue oversight, push bold legislation, and answer to constituents rather than donors.
I voted and organized to send progressive members to Congress. That work means nothing if leadership reverts to the same cautious, corporate-friendly posture we've seen before. Choose leaders who will actually fight for the people who put them there.
