The resolution passed today calls for deep cuts to essential programs that millions of Americans rely on, all to finance tax cuts that overwhelmingly benefit the wealthy and corporations. This is a tremendous disservice to your constituents and does not reflect their needs or values. We implore you to rethink this drastic and ill-advised budgetary approach. Instead of catering to the desires of the privileged few, we urge you to prioritize policies that uplift working families, protect vital social safety nets, and create an economy that works for all. Budgets are a statement of priorities - this one fails to put the people first.
