Now that Democrats control both chambers of Congress, we need to act swiftly to undo the worst of Trump's policies and counter his cancer on this democracy. The first order of business needs to be to rearrange the levers of power in the party. Democrats need to get a new Senate majority leader. We the people no longer want Chuck Schumer as Senate majority leader. Urge him to step down and pass the baton to a younger generation, NOW. I'm okay with Hakeem Jeffries. We need party leaders in both Chambers from states other than just New York State. New York State does not represent the values and priorities of all Americans. Urge your colleagues in both Chambers to put a vote together to determine party leaders... Let new generations lead the fight against President Trump. We need bold leadership now, and we can't allow Chuck Schumer to be the guy. He dropped the ball hard during the Biden administration and failed at impeaching Trump the first term. I know it's all about ending corruption in Washington, but it's also about ending corporate and establishment Democratic leadership. We're sick of mainstream corporate, middle ground Democrats. We want strong liberal to reform the party, actually stack the courts, actually pass constitutional amendments, actually pass common sense legislation.. in order to do so we need someone strong enough not to take AIPAC money, strong enough to not bend to big Pharma and big Insurance, and big Banks. Find the progressive leader and nominate them. This is our big, once in a generation chance to codify Democracy and make sweeping reforms to our social safety systems, to end wars, to end tariffs, to get Medicare for all, to overturn Citizens United, to end Gerrymandering, to end tech monopolies and the corporate oligarchy that runs our country, to tax the wealthy and fund our future. Put the right people in place, so we can finally end this regime and restore sanity and faith in politics and politicians.
