Pass the Medicare for All Act. The evidence is no longer debatable: a new Yale University study projects that a single-payer system would reduce national health expenditures by over $1 trillion annually and save more than 114,000 lives every year. That's not a talking point, that's peer-reviewed math. Meanwhile, 15 million Americans stand to lose coverage from Medicaid cuts in the One Big Beautiful Bill, and ACA subsidies have already expired. The crisis is here now.
The majority of Democrats, Republicans, and independents each support Medicare for All. The for-profit insurance system is costing us $286 billion a year in pure bureaucratic waste, $377 billion in inflated drug prices, and countless lives lost to delayed or denied care. There is no credible fiscal or moral argument for preserving it. Do everything in your power to advance the Medicare for All Act. Co-sponsor it, champion it, and vote for it.
