Stop legislating against transgender people as though their identity is a political ideology. Every major medical and psychological authority agrees that being transgender is not a choice — it is an innate aspect of who a person is, as natural as being left-handed. Calling it an ideology doesn't make it one. It just makes the legislation built on that premise wrong.
The harm here is real and measurable. When trans people are forced to suppress their gender identity, mental health outcomes deteriorate. When they're allowed to live authentically, quality of life improves. That's not a political talking point — that's the clinical evidence. Transgender people have existed across every culture and throughout all of recorded history. This is human variance, not a trend to be legislated away.
I'm asking you to oppose any bill that treats transgender identity as a choice or frames it as an ideology to be restricted. Discriminatory legislation doesn't protect anyone — it just makes life harder for people who are already navigating enormous pressure. Do the right thing and stand against it.
