We cannot accept any proposal to deport U.S. citizens, a blatantly unconstitutional and tyrannical violation of their fundamental rights. Forcibly removing American citizens from their homeland and shipping them off to foreign prisons is not just illegal, but an abhorrent moral atrocity that flies in the face of everything this nation stands for. Such an unconscionable policy would tear families apart, destroy lives, and inflict severe trauma on U.S. citizens for no justifiable reason whatsoever. American citizens have inviolable rights that cannot be simply discarded, regardless of any crimes committed. Due process and basic human dignity must be afforded to all. Deporting our own people is not merely unlawful but a horrific authoritarian power grab. Any suggestion of stripping citizenship rights and exiling Americans must be unequivocally rejected and condemned in the strongest terms. Upholding the constitutional protections of every U.S. citizen is essential to preserving our democracy and national values. This reprehensible plan cannot ever see the light of day.
