When an ICE agent kills a civilian and the Secretary of Homeland Security’s first instinct is to smear the victim, stonewall investigators, and declare the matter closed, that is not leadership. That is a cover-up. Kristi Noem chose to defend the killing of Nicole Cook instead of demanding transparency, accountability, and justice. She used her office to control the narrative, not uncover the truth. If this does not meet the standard for impeachment, then there is no standard at all. Congress must act. Impeach and remove Kristi Noem.
