Families in this country are selling their homes and fleeing their states to keep their children safe. That is not hyperbole — that is what is happening right now, and you have the power to stop it. With 188 anti-trans bills proposed in just the first four months of 2026, and 27 states having already banned gender-affirming care for children, this is a coordinated crisis. The Trevor Project found that transgender and nonbinary youth are 72% more likely to die by suicide in states that pass these bans. These are not abstract statistics. These are kids. The families being pushed out aren't leaving by choice. They're leaving because states like Idaho passed laws putting a $5,000 bounty on trans children who use the bathroom matching their identity. Parents are driving four hours across state lines for medical appointments. Doctors are abandoning patients under political pressure. The families who can't afford to move are left behind with no care and no protection. I need you to stand against every piece of legislation that strips transgender children of their dignity, their healthcare, and their right to exist safely in their own communities. Our kids deserve better than this.
