I'm calling to ask that Governor Lee pressure Trump to use USDA contingency funds to keep SNAP benefits flowing to the 10% of Tennesseans that receive benefits in our state. Starving people to score political points during a government shutdown is cruel and causes needless suffering. Thank you for your time and consideration.
