Our local NPR station is instrumental in sharing governmental happenings - local, state and national. I've passed along many NPR stories that touch on important health or weather issues. Countless Americans depend on what NPR and PBS provide for their communities. Don't make that go away. I'm ​demand​ing you deny the Trump administration's budget rescissions request to cut funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, NPR and PBS. Money for NPR and PBS is well-spent on valuable news, information, and educational programming for the American public, especially in rural and underserved areas. Thank you for your time and consideration.
