I am outraged! Today, the six Republican justices on the Roberts Court allowed states to deprive Medicaid recipients of their right under federal law to choose Planned Parenthood as their medical provider, even for non-abortion care. This will prevent low-income patients’ access to critical healthcare—including life-saving cancer screenings, annual visits, STI testing and treatment, and birth control. The Roberts Court is disgustingly biased and politically motivated. This decision is NOT based on our laws but in their Christian Right agenda. The Roberts Court does NOT have care or concern for women and their health. Congress MUST stand up for women and their right to choose their health care providers.
