I am writing to demand immediate and decisive action from the U.S. government to end its complicity in Israel’s unlawful occupation and systematic atrocities against the Palestinian people. The recent United Nations General Assembly resolution—backed by an overwhelming majority of 124 nations—reinforces what the world has long known: Israel's occupation of Palestinian land, its settlement expansion, and the ethnic cleansing it perpetuates are illegal, immoral, and amount to ongoing genocide. The International Court of Justice (ICJ) has made it clear that Israel’s presence in the Palestinian territories is illegal, and yet, the U.S. continues to funnel billions in military aid to prop up this apartheid regime. This is nothing short of an endorsement of genocide. As a citizen of the United States, I demand that you use your position to immediately halt all U.S. military aid and arms sales to Israel, implement an arms embargo, and impose comprehensive sanctions until Israel withdraws from occupied territories and ends its violent and criminal occupation. The U.S. has an obligation, under international law and basic moral principles, to stop supporting a regime that continues to displace, dispossess, and destroy the Palestinian people. Enough is enough. Continued aid to Israel makes the U.S. an active participant in the crimes being committed against Palestinians—crimes that include collective punishment, illegal land annexation, ethnic cleansing, and the brutal apartheid system Israel maintains over millions of people. I demand that the U.S. take an unequivocal stand by ending its financial and military complicity in these war crimes. The U.S. must not shield Israel from accountability any longer. This is not just a policy issue; this is a matter of human rights, justice, and international law. Your failure to act will mean continued bloodshed and suffering, all while the U.S. maintains its role as a key enabler of Israel's criminal activities. I call on you to immediately advocate for: 1. A complete arms embargo on Israel. 2. Sanctions targeting Israel’s economy and military. 3. Ending all U.S. diplomatic protection that allows Israel to evade accountability in global forums. The world is watching. The U.S. must stop its unconditional support for a state that is actively engaged in ethnic cleansing. Anything less than immediate action is complicity in genocide. I expect to see real, concrete steps taken to hold Israel accountable. No more excuses.
