Stop Hate Crimes Including Anti-Semitism

To: Sen. West, Lt. Gov. Patrick, Gov. Abbott, Rep. González

From: A constituent in Grand Prairie, TX

November 19

The rise in antisemitic incidents across the United States is deeply troubling and unacceptable. No one should feel unsafe or have to hide their religious identity out of fear of discrimination or violence. We must take concrete steps to combat this alarming trend. A comprehensive strategy is needed that involves coordination across all levels of government, law enforcement, schools, businesses, and community organizations. Education and prevention programs are key to fostering greater understanding, resilience against hate, and protecting the inclusive values we cherish as a nation. Additionally, robust policies and enforcement mechanisms must be put in place to address antisemitic hate crimes and ensure the safety of all Americans, regardless of their faith or background. Every American has the right to openly express their cultural and religious heritage without fear of harm. By implementing targeted strategies and taking decisive action against antisemitism and all forms of hate, we can reclaim the sense of security that has been compromised and build a society where diversity is celebrated, not targeted. Inaction is not an option when fundamental rights and lives are at stake. We urge you to prioritize this issue and take the lead in stopping the disturbing rise in antisemitism plaguing our communities.
