Oppose any disenfranchisement of Michigander voters

To: Gov. Whitmer, Sen. McBroom, Rep. Bohnak

From: A verified voter in Marquette, MI

March 20

In light of the state of our union, I’m writing proactively to urge you to oppose any legislation that creates a requirement of proving citizenship in order to register to vote. Such a law would impose a costly burden on eligible voters and make voting more difficult. Voting should be easy, free, and safe. Thank you.
