Condemn President's anti-Semitic rhetoric, demand apology and inclusive leadership.

July 4

Our fundamental values of respect and equality demand we speak out against the harmful use of antisemitic language by the President. The term "Shylocks" invokes deeply offensive stereotypes about Jewish people that have perpetuated discrimination and violence throughout history. Such rhetoric promoting prejudice has no place in our political discourse. We cannot remain silent when divisive and hateful words are used from the highest office. The President's remarks tarnish American ideals of inclusion and human dignity that should unite us all. We call for an immediate apology and a firm commitment to lead with wisdom, empathy and principled leadership that brings people together rather than divides them.
