The debacle with the reflecting pool has gone on far too long and taken up too many resources. How much money has been sunk into this algae growing eyesore? Between the questionable and very expensive deal to paint it blue, the questionable and expensive deal to fix it, the use of police and National Guard to guard the pool and arrest people who touch it, and now placing a fence with warnings of bombs? How much money are you going to let this president waste on turning a beautiful thing into an algae filled money pit? How long will you tolerate his no bid deals with his friends? Reflecting pool is a symbol of how messed up this entire country is from the administration. The rich are getting richer at everyone else’s expense. The US government has become the swamp that everyone promises to drain. Shady back door deals are being done all the time with Trump‘s cronies. The reflecting pool is just one of many many deals to help his friends make more money off of his presidency. How long will you put up with this? Remember, there will be a day when we choose whether to reelect you or put someone else in the seat you hold. Your actions will determine if you’re reelected or not no matter how much money you throw at the election. We the people of the United States are sick of business as usual. We deserve a better government than what you’re giving us.
