The Trump administration’s anti-democratic activities must be stopped!!!. I am old enough to remember the violations of COINTELPRO’s covert FBI projects. They secretly surveyed, infiltrated, tried to discredit, and disrupt American political organizations and social movements that the bureau deemed subversive, including civil rights groups, anti-war activists, and black nationalist groups. It has been uncovered that Federal law enforcement in Minneapolis were doing pretty much the same thing. Federal law enforcement reportedly infiltrated houses of worship and community meetings, tracked activists using license plates and financial records and used facial recognition software to identify people not suspected of any specific crime. I stand with the ACLU’s letter to Congress: "The public deserves to know who authorized this surveillance, what legal basis was asserted for it, how broadly it was conducted, what information was collected and retained, with whom information was shared, when it will be deleted, and what processes — if any — were in place to safeguard constitutionally protected activity.” This surveilance is un-American and MUST BE STOPPED!!!!! CONGRESS MUST ACT!!!!!
