Learn from the hold on Ed Martin. More Holds. No more unanimous consent

Please take a lesson from Adam Schiff's hold on Ed Martin. The new evidence that made Martin inappointable came out during the hold. The credentials, previous experience and personal character of Trump's nominees so far has been an affront to decency. It's time for the senate to stop rubber stamping these characters. NO MORE UNANIMOUS CONSENT. Please, a hold on every nominee while you do proper investigation. Stop rubber stamping nominees who are intent on dismantling their agencies. Advise and consent means ADVISE and consent not consent without appropriate scrutiny. I am counting on you to hold up higher standards for all appointments than the senate has hitherto. You swore an oath to the constitution and you betray that oath every time you confirm or even vote out of committee a nominee who will dismantle their agency, betray its purpose, or conduct its business so as to undermine the rule of law. Please also rectify the senate's feckless confirmation of Hegseth, Bondi, and RFK jr. All have carried out their duties so as to deserve removal.
