It’s time for Democrats to stop tiptoeing around the issues and start making their case with the fire and fury it deserves. First, let’s be clear about the bad things: It’s insane to threaten Greenland with a military action. I don’t think ICE should murder Americans in the street, and that’s why we need to abolish them. Now, let’s address the affordability crisis with the same authenticity and principle: The affordability crisis is a direct result of corporate greed and Republican policies that prioritize the rich over the working class. We need to break up the pharmaceutical industry, cap drug prices, because the American people deserve to not struggle just to live. Let’s keep the messaging sharp and unrelenting. The stakes couldn’t be higher. You can do both. There are no republican colleagues anymore. We are under fascism, and you cowering isn't going to improve things.
