This government shutdown has gone on way too long. If those of you in the House and Senate had been doing your jobs it should never have happened at all. It is disgusting that while essential workers like TSA and Air Traffic Controllers come to work without getting paid you in the House and Senate DON’T come to work and get paid nonetheless! I hope you realize that voters know the the House and Senate are both Republican controlled. You can try and blame it on ‘the Democrats’ but we know better. Please stop digging your (political) graves and open the government! Health care and food subsidies for those in need is only reasonable. Get to the table, negotiate with the Dems, and fund the Government.
