Let’s be clear—this Republican budget isn’t just bad policy, it’s abuse. It’s a calculated attack on the American people, especially those in rural, working-class states like West Virginia. Stripping Medicaid to the bone while pretending it’s “reform” is sick. You know what it really is? It’s forcing our neighbors to die quietly while billionaires celebrate tax cuts. It’s corporate welfare wrapped in a flag and Bible verses.
And let’s talk about what your cruelty looks like on the ground. In West Virginia, seven hospitals—Logan Regional, Welch Community, Broaddus, Minnie Hamilton, Grafton City, Montgomery General, and Jackson General—stand to shut their doors because of this heartless budget. That’s ERs closed. Cancer treatments stopped. Maternity wards gone. People will bleed out or die of strokes because your party decided they weren’t profitable enough to care about. You are actively choosing to destroy lives. This isn’t incompetence. It’s violence.
If you support this budget, you’re not pro-life. You’re not pro-family. You’re not Christian. You are an agent of greed and suffering. Resign in shame, or prepare for the fight of your life at the ballot box—because we’re done letting you step on our necks while you hand out gold-plated handcuffs to your billionaire donors.
