Protect judicial independence - oppose the JUDGES Act

To: Sen. Hagerty, Rep. Cohen, Sen. Blackburn

From: A constituent in Memphis, TN

April 23

The JUDGES Act would add 22 new judges to the federal courts, allowing the potential for the current administration to stack the judiciary with loyalists who may enable corruption and overreach. This bill represents a dangerous threat to the independence of the judicial branch and checks and balances on executive power. It is crucial to maintain a fair and impartial judiciary free from undue political influence. For the sake of protecting our democratic institutions, I urge you to vote no on the JUDGES Act.
