In spite of the unfortunate fact that so much of the social media is held by MAGA profiteers, Democrats have to get a POWERFUL message out. And not just to the usual mailing list. The general public has to hear over and over, in strong punchy terms, that evil billionaires are coming for their healthcare, Social Security, food safety, pocketbooks, National Parks and really anything else of general interest. They need to hear pithy, punchy statements over and over of how they personally are being threatened. The best minds have to be working on this public information campaign. Otherwise, as far as the country is concerned you’re just standing there with your mouths gaping open. Most people don’t follow politics closely. They hear MAGA messaging about destroying DEI and sadly, they like it. They like the sound of government efficiency. We need to make them hear that bad things are happening to THEM. That the rich don’t give a crap about them. It’s time for the Democrats to forget about who’s funding them and think about how we are about to go over the edge right now. People have to believe that billionaires and corporations are the enemy, that unelected billionaires are in control and that it is going to hurt them personally. I don’t know how we get their eyes off Fox News and algorithm bubbles but it has to happen. A bunch of people marching on the streets is not going to do it. In all my long life, I have never felt the country to be so under threat. You know, it I know it, my neighbors know it, but so much of the country does not. You guys have to step up with a fiery megaphone. And for gods sake don’t wait for election time. This needs to happening every day, every minute.
