Safeguard immigrants' constitutional rights, uphold human dignity

To: Sen. Gillibrand, Sen. Schumer, Rep. Lawler

From: A verified voter in Suffern, NY

July 15

The continued deprivation of immigrants' constitutional rights is a grave injustice that cannot be tolerated. All people within the United States are entitled to due process and equal protection under the law, regardless of their immigration status. Denying these fundamental constitutional guarantees to immigrants goes against the core values of our nation. We must take immediate action to uphold the rule of law and ensure that the basic human rights of immigrants are respected and protected. This is not only a moral imperative but a legal obligation that we cannot ignore. There is no time left for inaction. I urge you to prioritize addressing this issue and restoring the constitutional rights that have been unjustly stripped away from our immigrant communities.
