As your constituent, I urge you to support H.R. 2913, the Ukraine Support Act, and take immediate action to assist Ukraine and impose devastating sanctions on Russia. The latest missile and drone attacks on Ukrainian cities make clear that statements of concern are not enough. Ukraine desperately needs additional air defense systems and interceptors to protect civilians, critical infrastructure, and its energy grid from daily attacks. At the same time, you have the capacity to strengthen sanctions on Russia’s energy, banking, and defense sectors and close every loophole that allows the Kremlin to fund its war machine. The cost of delay is measured in lives lost. Russia must face overwhelming consequences for its aggression, and Ukraine must receive the tools it needs to defend itself. The time for words has passed. Thank you for your time and leadership on this important issue.
