As you are the Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, I urge you to hold public hearings regarding Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas. The recent behavior of both justices suggests that they have been partisan in their rulings. It also suggests that they may be receiving gifts and money from Republican supporters in exchange for rulings favorable to their goals. Alito and Thomas are both citizens at the end of the day and are beholden to the law. I would also like to see a move towards an expansion of the Court to match the number of Federal Districts and a move towards greater accountability and transparency from the Court. This current Court is out of control in my opinion. America can no longer have a Supreme Court that operates behind a curtain of secrecy.
