I am writing to demand that you use your power and voice to speak out against the atrocities Israel is committing on the people in Gaza, including a forced famine affecting a million displaced children and their families. Support an arms embargo and sanctions on Israel. Tens of thousands of children are already dead, and a million are traumatized, displaced and starving after years of genocide and TWO MONTHS of total humanitarian blockade have lead to a forced famine. An unarmed humanitarian aid mission headed to Gaza was targeted in a drone attack while still in international waters; this alone is a war crime. More than 2,000 people have been killed just since the ceasefire was broken; dozens die daily in horrific bombings and shootings, or of malnutrition or disease. Israel has killed more than 200 journalists. We have seen mass graves of executed medics and aid workers. Bombed hospitals, schools, family homes. All farmland and infrastructure have been entirely obliterated. How many war crimes does Israel have to commit before we stop directly supporting their cruelty? They will not stop until everyone in Gaza is dead. WE need to stop them. Stop using OUR taxes to fund genocide while the average American can barely afford food and rent at home. The public is getting antsy and catching on to your grift. I recommend you shape up for your own sakes as well; “we the people” are the ones that keep you safe, employed and living in peace. We see what you are allowing to happen to our siblings in Palestine, around the world, and here at home, and we won’t stand for it forever.
