Stronger healthcare privacy, new healthcare for trans people prove need

To: Sen. Murray, Sen. Cantwell, Rep. Strickland

Shame on Ds who voted for H3492! I'm ashamed our party contains people who want to take critical healthcare from our trans loved ones. Healthcare should be an area where decisions are between patients and their providers. If that's so called puberty blockers (used to delay puberty in cis kids without drama!) or hormones (commonly prescribed to many people for many reasons) or abortions (the number of patients propublica documented who died in need of treatmemt some lawyer decided was an abortion puts the lie to the bs about choice - it may be domestic violence or detached placenta that's the cause, but either way those people should be able to receive lifesaving treatment). It's none of our business what they discuss and decide with their doctors. It's not like any healthcare is cheap, easy to access, or squandered. People should be free to follow the advice of their physicians, no matter what. No child or teen wants to discuss something so private as their gender or need for family planning, so if they do speak up we need to respect them and their decisions. Please support my loved ones. I hope you have lgbtq people in your lives too - my friends and family bring me joy and strength. We know (and have demonstrated with studies) that kids and adults die without this lifesaving care, period. Please fight for my loved ones and enshrine stronger medical privacy into laws that will protect us from gop (and those horrible dems)'s overreach.
