Please, let’s not snatch defeat from the jaws of victory here. Centrism is not the answer. We need to move progressively, decisively, and effectively. Jeffries and Schumer cannot lead this charge. Even if they have the ability, they don’t have the cultural and political capital. We also need female leadership. Please consider Elizabeth Warren and AOC (or similar progressively-minded leaders) for majority leader and speaker.
