I urge you to reject this dangerous bill that would neuter the judiciary's vital role in our democracy. This legislation is an unprecedented attack on the judicial branch's ability to act as a check on the other branches of government. Preventing courts from issuing nationwide injunctions against unlawful executive actions would undermine the system of checks and balances enshrined in the Constitution. It represents a disturbing consolidation of power in the executive that threatens civil liberties and the rule of law.
