Kansans have a lot to be concerned about. Trade wars bankrupting farmer and raising the cost of living for everyone. Rural hospitals closing. Healthcare becoming even harder to afford. Federal agencies being gutted causing problems with things like access to special education. Untrained, masked, violent people storming neighborhoods all over the country. The threats of multiple wars that we are starting. Even the fact that the surrounding states are getting income from recreational marijuana, while we are losing the money and spending money to enforce prohibition. Those are the actual problems that Kansans want you to focus on. Please stop with the bills targeting trans people. Trans people are a vulnerable minority. They are not a threat. They are just people who are tying to live their lives as their authentic selves. This is not a threat to you or anyone else in Kansas. Trans people make up about 1% of the population. Yet, you all continue to devote a disproportionate portion of the limited legislative session to making life harder for a small group of people? Is that really what you think your job should be?
