Please: --Fix & Fund TSA. --Ensure funding for FAA air traffic controllers. --Defund ICE. I'm appalled by the disregard for safety shown by the GOP/Trump refusal to advance funding for TSA, FEMA & the Coast Guard--all because a rash and tyrannical president wants a voter suppression bill and his Gestapo, ICE. Find your guts: overturn his veto. We have lost air traffic controllers in every Government shut down-- even while members of Congress kept taking their pay, TSA and Air Traffic controllers were supposed to work without pay. How is this acceptable? It's been reported that only a single controller was on duty when the LaGuardia crash of a fire truck and plane occurred. We know that part of project 2025's goals included eliminating TSA and replacing it with private contractors. Please: introduce legislation to carve out funding, or ensure advance funding, for Air traffic controllers and TSA. Air traffic staff are essential experts. Allowing their numbers to fall so that safe staffing levels cannot be maintained is unacceptable. It's also unacceptable for ICE agents to be loafing around airports. That is a trial run for sending them everywhere, including to the polls. Push back now. Please reply to let me know how you plan to address the issues raised in this letter.
