I am writing today to give my support to Judge Hannah Dugan. That a member of the judicial branch was arrested for upholding the law in Her courtroom is nonsensical but also abhorrent. I am very alarmed at this administration’s continued attacks on the very fabric of the branches of this the US government and both the limits on their power and the overreach of the executive branch. You need to do whatever IS within your power to free her and thereby send a message that congress will support the judiciary against the Trump administration and uphold the rule of law and the constitution.
