Today, one ICE agent in Minneapolis murdered U.S. citizen (https://www.mprnews.org/story/2026/01/07/shooting-south-minneapolis-ice-agents-federal-operation) Renee Good (https://www.startribune.com/she-was-an-amazing-human-being-mother-identifies-woman-shot-killed-by-ice-agent/601559922), and ICE leadership dismissed the attack as “self-defense” despite clear video evidence to the contrary. I urge you to oppose the Trump administration’s attacks on immigrant communities and hold this administration accountable for their authoritarian and unlawful tactics. I ask that you: • demand a full investigation of ICE agents' indiscriminate use of deadly force against protesters and legal observers, and • conduct public oversight investigations into the conduct of ICE agents and conditions of detention facilities to ensure the rights and safety of detainees, and • oppose any federal funding bill that enables the administration to terrorize our communities and violate our due process rights, and • call for the impeachment of Kristi Noem as Secretary of Homeland Security.
