More than 500 American citizens have been illegally detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). This flagrant abuse of power violates constitutional rights, unlawfully deprives individuals of due process, and demonstrates what happens when our nation fails to uphold liberty and justice for all. An agency that unlawfully detains the very citizens it is sworn to protect is fundamentally broken beyond repair. Incremental reforms cannot fix systemic disregard for basic constitutional protections. Take immediate legislative action to abolish ICE, restore accountability, and protect the constitutional rights of all individuals within our borders.
