Senator Schumer is meant to be the leader of the loyal opposition. Instead, he organized the betrayal of the American people. He got some senators who won’t be up for reelection for a while to vote for the continuing resolution, opening the government and relying on the empty promises of an untrustworthy GOP to protect Americans’ access to healthcare. And he made this terrible decision when it was clear that the Democratic Party was enjoying a resurgence of public support after the elections in Virginia, New Jersey, and NYC. Now, people will be disillusioned with the democrats yet again, and less likely to turn out in 2026. Schumer is not an effective leader. At best he’s a bumbling fool. At worst, he’s collaborating with the fascists. He must be removed from his role of Senate Minority Leader. Thank you.
