Defend Voting Rights: Stop the Administration's Voter Roll Purge

To: Rep. DelBene, Sen. Cantwell, Pres. Trump, Sen. Murray

From: A verified voter in Bothell, WA

August 25

Block the administration's attempt to weaponize federal databases against American voters. DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin threatened election officials with fines and prison over a list of 15,903 alleged noncitizen voters in Nevada — a list his own department generated by computer and has barely checked. Of those names, DHS has hand-verified exactly 185. More than 14,000 remain untouched. A Nevada official asked point-blank on a recorded call whether the number had been vetted. The DHS official admitted it hadn't. Mullin issued his threats anyway. This isn't election integrity — it's intimidation. DHS's own paperwork acknowledges their SAVE database has a 5-10% error rate. Forcing counties to run every voter and poll worker through a broken database doesn't protect elections; it cancels them. El Paso County found that compliance would mean closing polling places and canceling naturalization ceremonies. That's the point. Stand up and defend every eligible voter's right to cast a ballot that counts.
