Hegseth needs to be impeached and removed from office immediately. He is phrasing Trump's war on Iran as a "holy war" to bring about "Armageddon" and the return of Jesus. This is antithetical to most Christians understanding of the prophecies in the Bible's book of Revelation. It is even more tellingly antithetical to our government as enshrined in the Constitution. His 1st Amendment right to believe and practice as he chooses does not convey a right for him to force others to believe as he does. When the Secretary of Defense, now called "war", denigrates the faith of those who don't believe as he does and uses racial and religious slurs to refer to the people the president has decided to "obliterate" (his words), the problems in our military run far deeper than a rogue president unilaterally attacking a foreign nation to "prevent it from developing nuclear weapons" which capacity Trump's bombing during the summer had "obliterated" Hegseth is the poster boy for the Christian Nationalists. He should never have been placed in a position of overseeing our military. Impeach him now!
