The House Ethics Committee report into the allegations against former Rep. Matt Gaetz must be made public. Transparency is paramount when it comes to the potential nomination of Gaetz as Attorney General. The American people deserve full disclosure about these grave claims before he is considered for such a high office. For the Senate to properly advise and consent on this nomination, senators must have access to the complete Ethics Committee findings. I recognize that as a member of the Senate, you do not have control over the actions of the House Ethics Committee. However, I urge you to do whatever is possible to pressure your fellow lawmakers to ensure its release. Additionally, the American people deserve full disclosure in the form of a complete FBI background check on Gaetz, should his nomination be brought to th e Senate for approval. Thank you for your attention to these matters.
