I'm contacting you today as a Vermonter to express my wish that ICE be abolished and the DHS be deconstructed. It's not enough to vote down new funding, especially when congress has provided enough funds to build an army. There is no redemption. No training or restrictions will change the culture of this department. It's recruits are filled with white supremacists, (we've all noticed the sudden absence of Proud Boys and Patriot Front) who revel in killing and threatening the immigrant and citizen population alike. Renee Good's last words were "I'm not mad at you bro." Her killer's words were, "Fucking Bitch." Alex Pretti's last words were, "Are you ok?" His killers clapped and said, "Boo hoo." Babies are protesting in concentration camps on American soil. We are the bad guys and it must stop!
