It is absolutely insane and abhorrent that we are detaining these immigrant children but then also having them defend themselves in court so we can “speedrun” their deportations. These are real, living children who are experiencing a constant, never-ending nightmare since Trump took office. We are not a country of monsters. We are not a country of bigots. We cannot allow this to happen. We must support those children and defend their right to be in our country and be safe.
