An Open Letter

To: Gov. Lee

From: A constituent in Knoxville, TN

October 24, 2025

Sir I am ashamed of your absolute inability to protect or care for the people of Tennessee. Your job as governor is to ensure that your state’s children do not go hungry. Tennessee has a surplus that does not belong to you. It is going to be Thanksgiving and a golden ballroom is being built in DC. My husband is a federal DOJ worker who missed his second paycheck today. A month. And no food stamps for us! You will ensure that Republicans lose massively at midterms. I will actively campaign against you if you do not act to help Tennesseans during November.
