Oppose KOSA and STOP CSAM.

To: Sen. Warnock, Sen. Ossoff

From: A constituent in Hinesville, GA

October 23, 2025

KOSA and STOP CSAM wouldn't protect my family or my friends' families. When SESTA and FOSTA were signed into law, it only made things worse for sex trafficking victims looking to keep themselves safe online from their predators. Sex workers, artists, writers, journalists, game developers, authors, journalists and activists also have families too, families they support with their work. The ones creating fictional erotica and consensual adult material also don't want their kids to be harmed online or offline. But no one in Congress takes their statements or experiences into account. Anyone who opposes what these bills actually do get demonized as predators while the true dangers are allowed to teach, hold church services, enter the clergy or continue to hold office in positions of power. This doesn't keep happening because of the nature of the Internet. It keeps happening because of the nature of how politicians blame pornography for social ills afflicting victims. That is why I will keep opposing KOSA and STOP CSAM. Please, understand that age verification won't do anything but encourage data theft and exploitation. Thank you.
