I am writing, as a registered Michigan voter, to express my severe concern regarding any level of ICE occupancy in Michigan currently. As it stands, ICE is behaving as a domestic terrorist organization, acting without identifying themselves, hiding behind masks, and acting without judicial warrants. ICE slaughtered Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti without any semblance of due cause. ICE treats detained human beings like animals, allowing them to live in filth and sickness under the reasoning of them being criminals. This can not stand. I pray that we, as a collective society, have learned from past mistakes regarding situations where one group has been targeted en masse within a country. I beg you, we need to see action from our representatives, as this is becoming genuinely stomach-turning. How can you, as a parent, someone's child, a friend, an aunt/uncle, etc., see these atrocities and not use your position of power to speak out? Especially when those with so much less have given so much more to stop ICE and their aggressive regime. I ask that you interfere. Use your amplified voice to speak for all of us, and ask for the dismantling and reorganization of ICE. Action must be done before a line gets crossed in this nation that can not be uncrossed. Thank you.
