Food stamps/EBT being cut off next month due to the government shutdown is going to be detrimental to my livelihood. I am a single mother, and rely on SNAP to feed my child. What is Michigan planning to do to protect me from this government shutdown? I believe more people need to know they have reliable accessible resources to food during this time. I’m scared. I am a hardworking individual who just wants to comfortably pay my bills and feed my child. I know that many people are in the same boat. My life, my child’s life, and quality of life, is important. Your people are important. What will you do to actually help us?
