I was unable to reach your office today and and was unable to leave a voicemail mail. Please treat this email as you would a phone call. I am extremely upset and angry about the ICE raids, detentions, and killings and strongly urge Senator Durbin to support the impeachment of Kristi Noem as Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security. ICE's abuses under her leadership and her continuous lies to the American people are appalling, deadly, and a threat to everyone living in the United States. Under her tenure, ICE raids have terrorized communities, torn families apart, and resulted in multiple deaths. DHS has targeted and detained verified US citizens, in some cases deporting them without due process. ICE detainees have faced sexual assault, medical negligence, and other human rights abuses, and thousands of those detained have gone missing. Noem has directed the use of the US military against protestors and celebrated an ICE agent’s murder of Renee Good as “self defense” despite obvious video evidence of Good’s innocence. Now she is blaming intensive care nurse Alex Pretti for his own death saying he was a terrorist and going to shoot agents despite the fact that the videos we all saw contradict this. Kristi Noem is grossly incompetent. She  lies, is corrupt, and has embraced fascist violence. She must be impeached. Thank you for your time and consideration.
