Senator Collins, did congress approve of a no bid contract to a Trump friend to spend $14 million to change the color of the reflecting pool in DC?! That I now see is as gross and swampy as Washington has become. Is it not congress’ job to approve such extravagant expenditures? Why aren’t you better stewards of taxpayers money, this is absolutely ridiculous. The corruption, the waste, the complete and irrefutable insult to prioritizing a reflecting pool to look like one of his hotel properties over the well being of Americans, it’s utterly ridiculous and I have heard nothing from congress. Would you please DO SOMETHING?! Speak out! Stand up for your constituents and all Americans for gods sake! I hear there are ducklings dying in the pool now, how symbolic of our democracy. Just absolutely disgusted with everything I see out of this administration and the spineless congress who allows it all.
