Don't back down, don't capitulate. Leave the government shut down. We're counting on you to do what's right for everyone in the country be standing firm against the authoritarian power grab. Keep the government shut down until it's funded in a way that is ethical, moral and beneficial to everyday people including immigrants. If this is what it takes to defund ICE and keep the military out of our cities, so be it. Hold the line and keep the government shut down until the Republicans back down on their agenda to make America worse than ever.
