I urge you to oppose any policy allowing federal executions to be livestreamed or publicly broadcast. Whatever one's views on the death penalty, executions should be carried out with solemnity and accountability, not treated as public spectacles. Broadcasting an execution risks sensationalizing state violence, harming victims' families, and undermining human dignity. Please oppose any federal action that would permit or promote livestreamed executions.
