What new horrors have to be reported for Congress to take action against ICE's persistent illegality, cruelty, and suppression of our rights? If you don't care about the rule of law (which you ought) or the constitution (which you swore to protect), then do the math on the cost of ICE detentions, the cost to the economy and the cost of future lawsuits. Each day brings fresh revelations of horror: maggots in food, torture, suicide, agents throwing pepper spray at peaceful protesters, higher-ups giving illegal orders to violate habeas corpus.
